Hey Friends! I’m Crystal, the maker behind CrystalsMNCreations. I was born and raised in Northern Minnesota where I currently live with my handsome and handy husband, Jeff, our two sweet cats and our new lab puppy, Bailey. I’ve always enjoyed crafting, creating and making all things and spaces beautiful. Speaking of that, I’ve been a cake decorator for almost 20 years! Decorating fancy and fun birthday and wedding cakes and cupcakes has always brought me (and others!) so much joy!

My gnome love started in 2016, as did my obsession with all things buffalo plaid. Pair those two things and I’m in craft and decorating heaven!! With a dash of courage and a bit of Pinterest instruction, I started crafting gnomes this same year . Six years later ~ here we are with you guys helping me to build my small business dream.

It was In the winter of 2018, while recovering from surgery, that my CrystalsMNCreations small biz adventure really took off. I started giving out my handmade gnomes to friends and family and before long, I had people wanting to purchase them. I can’t even tell you how many smiles these cuties have brought along the way. It is truly heartwarming.
